Knysna Lifestyle Estate is a retirement estate like no other. Set in the heart of the Garden Route, it offers breathtaking scenery, modern architecture and secure living. The estate is laid out over 52 hectares, with dedicated greenbelts, ponds and walking trails incorporated into the site plan design. Once completed there will only be 250 homes on the estate, ensuring a low residential density of only five homes per hectare. Residents will never feel cramped or overlooked, as great emphasis has been placed on the sense of space and freedom.

Our retirement village site plans are being developed over five phases. Each phase features a selection of spacious two- and three-bedroomed freehold homes set out on stands ranging in size from 600m² to 1000m².
There are various different retirement house plans to choose from, ranging from the popular Fulmar and Sandpiper (both two-bedroomed designs) to the larger Skua and Gannet designs.

Knysna Lifestyle Estate floor plans incorporate modern open plan living and inviting indoor and outdoor areas. Each home features one or two patios, a living area and carpeted bedroom area, unless requested otherwise. Homes also feature a garden which is maintained as part of the monthly levy.

Can I choose my own fittings and finishes for my new home?
Home buyers will be able to choose their own fittings and finishes within an allowed budget. You can choose from a standard range of fittings or select your own within the allowed budget.
Do stands have a garden?
All stands have a garden, which is maintained as part of your monthly levy. The estate has been planted with mostly water-friendly indigenous plants. This ensures lush foliage and colourful blooms year-round. Many of our homeowners are avid gardeners who have established beautiful gardens around their homes.
Is the estate focused on sustainability?
The estate has implemented several sustainable measures including a 3 million litre capacity reservoir, solar geysers, low e-glass, some grey-water systems, low-voltage lightbulbs and water-wise indigenous plants.
Is Knysna Lifestyle Estate pet-friendly?
Yes, existing pets are welcome with written consent from the HOA, but they will not be permitted to roam the Estate.
