The high level of security is very reassuring and very convenient for “lock-up and go “activities. We enjoy the village style community with many friendly neighbours. We have made many new friends, with similar interests of the same age group. The houses are spacious and of contemporary design with beautiful, manageable-sized gardens. The low-density housing provides space for independence. The extensive Greenbelts and pathways provide many walking opportunities within a secure environment. We make regular use of the convenient on-site gym, snooker room, ladies fitness classes and the hiking group. The clubhouse is the entertainment centre, used for pub nights, presentations, guest musicians, communal braais, sports events on a large screen tv and dance nights accompanied by our own KLE Rockers band.

We appreciate the very secure environment in an estate that is so well maintained and friendly. Meeting others is easy at the pub evening on a Wednesday at 5 pm or by walking along the roads and through common areas where you meet other walkers. Group activities are encouraged for residents to join such as card games, gym and excercise activities, walks and talks as well as occasional festive occasions.

I would like to send a HUGE shout out to all the management and staff at Knysna Lifestyle Estate Health Centre for the fantastic care they have dished out to me over the past 4 weeks....every single one of the staff are absolutely fantastic and all went the extra mile to make my recovery a pleasure. Understanding that we are approaching our senior years we were wanting a safe , active , friendly , healthy , accessible and organised environment that was not claustrophobic or miserable …… and in Knysna Lifestyle Estate we have found a lovely solution to tomorrows needs . We love the serenity, the feeling of being in the country yet close to town. The social get togethers are always fun and the extra activities are conducive to meeting other residents and making friends. A pleasure not to worry about your investment as the HOA, led by the trustees, do an excellent job on our behalf. Our security also adds to our peace of mind.
